(100 SW Merino) 8 Ply Cabled Sport

Lucky Sport Sock is my new favorite thing to make socks out of, not only because I can get a good gauge with it even though I'm a super loose knitter. This yarn is an 8 ply 100% Superwash Merino with a braided construction (which means that the yarn is made up of 2 ply strands, 4 of them in this case). This yarn is round, will show off stitch definition like nobody's business, and has a soft, silky hand. I've got a small amount on hand for this first time around. All colors are dyed in 4 skein batches. 3.5 ounces and 260 yards per skein of sport weight 8 ply goodness. Love.
