A gauge of 9 to 6 stitches per inch on size 0 to 3 needles makes a very nice fabric, but your gauge can and will vary. Hand or machine wash cold. Lay flat to dry. Tumble drying is not advised. String is made up of 8 tiny, tight plies of Superwash Merino Wool and is designed to wear and wear and wear and wear and wear and wear and wear and wear and wear.
